Overseer, Pastor Willie & First Lady Tiffanie Parker

Pastor Willie Parker  was born in Manning, SC.. His parents Mr. & Mrs. Willie & Rebecca Parker still resides there. Pastor Parker in his earlier years he attended Taw Caw Baptist Church. His family later made a change and moved to a Holiness fire baptize church known as Macedonia Church pastored by Ann Riley. This is where he was first introduced to the Pentecostal movement. Pastor Parker received the gift of the Holy Ghost in 1991 at the age of 16 and was baptized Jesus Name.

After graduation he joined the U.S.N., where he served his country proudly for 7 years stationed in San Diego, CA. There he went on to attend Grossmont College and obtained his National Certification as an Orthopedic Technologist, duties which he has faithfully performed for over 19 years.

While stationed in San Diego he was educated in the Apostolic doctrine while attending the Garden of Prayer Church pastored by the late Suffragen Bishop Joseph R. Hall. In 1996 he married his lovely wife, Tiffanie Parker, and have 2 children Emmanuel & Isaac.

After being honorably discharged from the military he and his family relocated to Decatur, GA. In the year 2000 they joined fellowship with Pentecostal Deliverance Assembly, pastored by Anthony McFarlane. Here he spent the next 6 years growing in ministry. He was ordained a Deacon, served as Praise & Worship Leader, and Youth President. It was during these years he accepted the call to ministry, as he realized God had a special call on his life. In 2006 challenges forced the Parker family to relocate to Houston, TX. Little did they know that God was ordering their steps. They served faithfully at Life Tabernacle Bellfort Church pastored by Bishop Ferguson. He served as one of the Associate Ministers and Sunday School Teacher for the next 4 1/2 years. Under Bishop Ferguson’s leadership, Pastor Parker’s knowledge of the Word was heightened and enlightened. There he continued to blossom and learn different aspects of ministry. 

In 2011, after hearing the call to Pastor, Pastor Parker and family launched out by faith to start a work known as Lighthouse Apostolic Worship Center.  The ministry began in a club house in Pearland, TX, and within 6 months they moved to a new location on Yellowstone in Houston, TX. In 2015 Pastor Parker was approached by Pastor Hughes Jenkins regarding the merge of Lighthouse Apostolic Worship Center and New Abundant Life Church.  After much prayer from both Pastors, Lighthouse Apostolic Worship Center joined with New Abundant Life Church in September 2016. Pastor Parker was installed as the Senior Pastor of New Abundant Life Church January 19, 2019.

Hughes Jenkins was born July 23, 1947 in Boyce, Louisiana. He attended Wettermark Elementary through High School. Hughes Jenkins received a Bachelor degree in Education in 1970. In 1970 he was drafted into the United States Army where he was a Postal Clerk Specialist in Mainz, Germany until 1972. After leaving the Arm Forces, Pastor Jenkins taught 12th Grade math in Opelousas, Louisiana from 1972 until 1973. He also taught 12th grade math in Alexandria, Louisiana from 1973 until 1974.


Pastor Hughes Jenkins moved to Houston, Texas and attended Texas Southern University in 1975 to work on his Master degree and received 36 hours toward his degree in 1977.

Pastor Jenkins taught 6th, 8th, and 9th grade math at Deady Junior High/Middle School. Also, along with teaching school Pastor Jenkins was a 7th Grade coach for the boys basketball team and was a basketball official for the school. He taught at Deady for 24 years. He taught math at H.C.C. (Houston Community College).  Pastor Hughes Jenkins was baptized in Jesus name in 1981 and received the Holy Ghost afterward. God called him while attending New Life Temple Church. He served in various ministries. He taught the New Convert Class, taught the Home Bible Fellowship Classes in the home. He was one of the Treasurers over the finances of the church, a board member, and evangelized before God called him to pastor.

In 1993 Pastor Hughes Jenkins wanted to be about God's business, so he along with his wife, Ella Jenkins, founded New Abundant Life. The church began in their home at 15302 OHara Dr. to a store front at Hillcroft and Main to 2340 Texas Parkway in Missouri City, Texas to the present location.
