What We Believe
THE BIBLE
Is the inspired Word of God, giving a true history of the creation of heaven, earth, and humanity and containing a correct prophecy of the ages to come regarding heaven, earth, and the destiny of humanity. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." (2 Timothy 3:16).Moreover, there is no salvation outside of what is taught in its pages. Revelation 22:18-19 states, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book All of the bible is truly inspired from God whether it is the Old Testament or the New Testament, it is all divine revelation from God and if we follow the road map God has given in its entirety than we are promised the kingdom.
REPENTANCE
The second vital step of salvation is to repent for your past sins asking God to remit them to the bottomless pits of the sea. "Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" (Luke 13:5). Repentance is more than Reformation, not only is it a better life that will be lived but it forgives you for you past actions. In repentance you make a 180 degree turn from you old ways and allow all old things to be passed away and all things made new becoming a new creature in Christ Jesus. (2 Cor. 5:17)
WATER BAPTISM
is essential in order to make it into the heavenly kingdom for the bible says in John 3:3-6, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Matthew 28:19-20 states the Great Commission, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in Jesus Christ name". We at New Abundant Life Church baptize in Jesus name for remission of sins this scripture is shown in Acts 2:38. BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST
The next step in salvation is that you must receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues in order to be saved (Acts 2:1-4). John 3:5-7 states, Except a man be born of Water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again . For other references regarding the infilling of the Holy Spirit read, (Acts 2:16-17, 2:33, 10:22-46), (Luke 1:35, Gal. 3:14, 4:6; John 16:13).
SALVATION
Salvation consists of deliverance from all sin and unrighteousness through the blood of Jesus Christ. The New Testament experience of salvation consists of Repentance from sin, Water Baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the Baptism of the Holy Ghost as shown above. After these have been achieved and obtained by obedience and submission to God a Christian is to live a godly life in holiness. (Acts 2: 36-41)
